Role Overview
The Program Operations Manager will be the operational backbone of our field implementations. You will own the end-to-end execution of multi-state school and learning center programs, ensuring that TELL Kits (hardware, diaries, manuals) are deployed seamlessly, field teams/partner NGOs are trained, and implementation fidelity is maintained. You will bridge central leadership, product development, and frontline delivery to turn CSR/grant commitments into measurable learner outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
1. Program Execution & Deployment ManagementMulti-State Rollouts:
- Lead the end-to-end implementation of the Tara English Language Lab program across target states (e.g., Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Odisha, Maharashtra).
- Resource & Kit Logistics: Manage procurement, kitting, and distribution of TELL Kits--including hardware, Tara Language Diaries, and teacher activity manuals--to partner schools and learning centres.
- Field Facilitator Deployment: Recruit, onboard, and manage field facilitators or oversee partner NGO execution teams to ensure smooth daily operations.

2. Operations & Stakeholder CoordinationPartner & Institutional Coordination:
- Act as the primary operational contact for partner NGOs, district education officials, and institutional stakeholders to ensure program alignment.
- Field Problem Solving: Establish rapid-response channels to resolve on-ground connectivity, device usage, hardware failure, or scheduling issues.
- Budget & Timeline Tracking: Track project milestones, field operational budgets, and resource allocation to ensure on-time, within-budget program delivery.

3. Data, Quality Control & Cross-Functional AlignmentImplementation Fidelity:
- Conduct regular field visits and usage audits to verify that schools run Tara sessions as per program design.
- Integration with MEL: Work closely with the MEL team to coordinate baseline, midline, and endline learner assessments and collect ground-level impact data.
- Product Feedback Loop: Systematically gather field insights, user feedback, and tech glitches from teachers/students and communicate them directly to the Product & AI Tech team.

Required Qualifications & SkillsExperience:
- 6-8 years of hands-on experience managing field operations, large-scale education programs, or tech-in-education rollouts in India (EdTech/NGO/Development sector experience preferred). - Project Management: Proven ability to manage multi-location projects, field logistics, and remote teams under tight timelines.
- Stakeholder Management: Experience working with local NGOs, school leadership, teachers, and field facilitators.
- Tech Comfort: High comfort with digital tools, IoT/voice devices, mobile apps, and data dashboards.
- Languages: Proficiency in English, Kannada, Tamil, Hindi (fluency in additional regional languages is a strong plus).
- Mindset: High ownership, adaptability to field realities, lean execution approach, and a strong commitment to measurable learning outcomes.
