Community Worker

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Community Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will act as a bridge between the foundation and the local community, facilitating the effective implementation of our on-ground projects, mobilizing community members, and ensuring participatory development.

Key Responsibilities:
Conduct community mobilization, awareness campaigns, and regular meetings with local stakeholders.Identify community needs, challenges, and resources through baseline surveys and direct interactions.Assist in planning, organizing, and executing grassroots programs and workshops.Maintain regular documentation, including daily logs, attendance registers, and project progress reports.Coordinate with local government bodies, schools, healthcare centers, and self-help groups (SHGs).Provide handholding support to beneficiaries and monitor the impact of interventions.

Qualifications and Experience:
Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Social Work (BSW), Sociology, Rural Development, or a related field (relaxed for candidates with exceptional field experience).1-3 years of proven experience working directly with rural or urban underserved communities.Fluency in the local language (Hindi, English) and basic functional English.Strong interpersonal, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned field areas.

Compensation:
Remuneration will be commensurate with qualifications and experience, matching sector standards.
