GMR Varalakshmi Foundation (GMRVF) is the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) arm of the GMR Group. The Foundation works with communities around project locations with a focus on key development areas including Education, Health, Hygiene & Sanitation, Empowerment, and Livelihood Development.
GMRVF is seeking a competent professional to lead CSR and skill development initiatives in Andhra Pradesh.
Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure that all planned Training courses are conducted as per timelines at NIRED
• Identification and mobilization of the unemployed rural youth to take up self-employment / wage employment ventures and train them to equip with certain skills (technical & managerial) in micro entrepreneurship and wage employment
• Maintaining liaising with the Industry & knowledge partners like Voltas, Schneider Electric in the field of Skill development
• Bring innovation in addressing the issues of livelihoods through self-employment and provide handholding support in setting up of the units, monitoring of growth.
• Be GMRVF interface at NIRED to liaison with Union Bank and overall responsible for administrative and training functions of NIRED.
• Supervise preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual reports.
• Initiate, develop and nurture partnership with national level agencies like KVIC for programmatic and funding support
• Liaison with Govt. depts like Dist. Collector, LDM, DRDA, DWMA, KVIC, like minded NGOs, CBOs & organizations
• Take up any additional trainings/ infrastructure related works that may come up in future
Educational Qualifications & Experience:
• Postgraduate degree in Sociology, Social Work, Rural Development, or related
• Minimum 8-10 years of experience in skill development sector
• Proficiency in Telugu (both oral and written communication) is essential.
• Relevant experience in skill development, livelihood promotion, and program management.
• Adequate computer proficiency and reporting skills.

• Good communication and documentation skills
