About the Role
Sapna IT College provides IT education to the rural youth. We are looking for a young and passionate program leader who can effectively manage college activities, teach IT subjects, engage with rural communities, and contribute to the overall growth of the college.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day activities of the college.
- Counsel students and parents regarding courses, admissions and career counselling.
- Visit villages and interact with rural students, parents and community members.
- Increase student enrolment.
- Teach IT/computer subjects to students of DCA, PGDCA and Basic Computer Courses.
- Coordinate with faculty and ensure smooth academic functioning.
- Develop relationships with local companies and employers in Alwar and nearby areas for student placement opportunities.
- Support the placement of passed-out students by coordinating interviews, job opportunities and employer interactions.
- Maintain student records and basic reports.
- Take initiatives to expand the reach and impact of the college.
- Maintain a high level of discipline and spotlessly clean campus.
Qualification
Candidates should have a degree from a recognized university:
B.Tech/M.Tech (CSE) / MCA/ MBA/ MSW with good IT skills
Preferred Experience & Skills
- Good communication and counselling skills.
- Comfortable with villagers and visiting rural areas.
- Good knowledge of computers and IT subjects including AI.
- Ability to build relationships with local companies and support student placements.
- Positive attitude, initiative and good coordination skills.
- Fluency in English
Candidate Preference
Those who are comfortable interacting with rural communities and can confidently communicate with students, parents and villagers.
