Rural Development Implementation Experts

Rural Development – Community Mobilization – Participatory Planning – Gram Panchayat Planning – VGPP Implementation – Community Engagement – Stakeholder Coordination – Capacity Building – Field Implementation – Baseline & Endline Assessment – SHG/FPO Engagement – Government Scheme Convergence – Training & Facilitation – Monitoring & Reporting – Documentation.
Qualifications
a) Master’s degree in rural development, Social Sciences, civil engineering, agriculture, environment and other related fields.
b) B2-level language proficiency in English and C2-level language proficiency in Hindi.
c) Minimum 3 years’ experience of organising community meetings; good communication skills; Experience of implementing Agriculture/ NRM/ rural development programmes; experience of working with panchayat/government.
d) Minimum 2 years of experience on Experience of participation in village/panchayat level planning exercise in any thematic area in rural development programmes.
Minimum 2 years of experience of working at regional level. Experience of working in Rajasthan would be an asset.
Key Responsibilities
a) Facilitate community participation and support effective implementation of project activities at the grassroots level.
b) Conduct community consultations, FGDs, Gram Sabha meetings, baseline/endline assessments and community events.
c) Ensure inclusive participation of women, youth, marginalized groups, persons with disabilities and other vulnerable communities.
d) Identify and prioritize local development needs and integrate community inputs into VGPP planning.
e) Facilitate preparation of the Gram Panchayat’s long-term vision and Viksit Gram Panchayat Plan (VGPP).
f) Coordinate on-ground activities and maintain regular liaison and follow-up with Panchayat, block, district and other stakeholders.
g) Engage Panchayat representatives, SHGs, FPOs, youth groups and community-based organizations.
h) Support capacity-building and participatory planning processes at state, district, block and Gram Panchayat levels.
i) Develop and facilitate training/orientation programmes and support Training of Trainers (ToT) activities.
j) Collect and customize relevant information, schemes, programmes and departmental resources for planning purposes.
e) Compile assessments, reports, presentations and communication content, ensuring timely and quality documentation
