Family Planning Association of India.

The Family Planning Association of India (FPAI) is recognized as India’s leading NGO providing services in the area of sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR). It began its journey in 1949 and has completed seven decades of pioneering work in meeting reproductive health needs.

Counsellor: - 1 Post (VVP)

Eligibility: Graduate, computer Technology savvy

Experience: minimum 1 year

Salary: - 18,000/- to 20,000/- (based on experience and last drawn salary)

Duties of Counsellor

1) Provide counselling services / telephone services / correspondence counselling, as required on various SRH related issues, such as premarital, marital, adolescent, safe abortion, RTI/STI/HIV, Infertility and other domestic problems at RHFPC and other Counselling Centers developed by the Branch.

2) To record case histories of clients either by personal counselling or by referring them to appropriate SECRT Consultants, or to suitable agency, hospital or center.

3) To develop audio visual aids, literature, pamphlets, etc. required for various programmes.

4) To maintain records and submit periodic reports as required by HQ and advised by the Branch Manager

5) To work in coordination with the Project Coordinator, VVP and other units of the Branch Project.

6) To follow up all clients especially clients referred outside as well as clients who had given appointments for services and not came.

7) Any other duty/ task assigned by the Medical Officer and/or Project Coordinator
