Role Summary
Jaineev Consulting LLP is a growing consulting and advisory firm supporting clients in the development and philanthropic sectors. We are seeking a Communications Associate to support the communications team in coordinating and executing activities across multiple partner organizations and with clients.
The Role will regularly collect compelling stories, verify facts and help turn partner inputs into clear, engaging, donor-ready communication materials. Working under the guidance of communications leadership, the Associate will assess partner social media content, check strict compliance with client branding and media guidelines, and help deliver timely, high-quality communication products that support the communications strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Story Collection and Donor Communications:
• Coordinate regular story collection from multiple partners, follow up on submissions and gather supporting data, quotations, photographs and other source materials.
• Fact-check stories and claims against program records and reliable sources; clarify gaps with partners and program teams and flag unsupported information.
• Draft and edit impact stories, case studies, donor briefs, factsheets, newsletters, presentations and other donor-ready materials, with review and guidance from the communications team.
• Check that appropriate consent, permissions and credits are documented and that stories represent people accurately, respectfully and with dignity.
2. Content Quality and Brand Compliance:
• Assess social media copy and visuals submitted by partner organizations for accuracy, clarity, grammar, storytelling quality and suitability for the intended audience.
• Check partner communications for strict compliance with client branding, co-branding and media guidelines, including logos, acknowledgements, approved messaging, image use and required permissions.
• Coordinate corrections and revisions, maintain review records and escalate sensitive content or compliance concerns to communications leadership.
• Track required approvals and ensure only approved versions are scheduled, shared or published through the agreed workflow.
3. Partner Coordination and Communication Delivery:
• Maintain content calendars, submission trackers and deadlines; coordinate with partners, colleagues and creative vendors to keep communication products on schedule.
• Support campaigns, donor visits, workshops and events by preparing communication materials and coordinating documentation and follow-up.
• Organize story banks, photographs, films, templates and final assets in a searchable repository, with clear source records and version control.
• Carry out other communications tasks assigned by communications leadership in support of the communications strategy and client-ready products.
Required Qualifications:
• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, English, Media Studies, Development Studies or a related field.
• 1–3 years of relevant experience in communications, content development, digital media or a similar role.
• Strong written English and demonstrated ability to draft, edit and shape clear, engaging content. Hindi proficiency would be an advantage. An eye for detail is a must.
• Familiarity with social media platforms, Microsoft Office or Google Workspace, and basic content and design tools such as Canva.

Compensation:
Compensation will be commensurate with qualifications, experience and suitability for the role.
