ABOUT SAILI
SAILI- Sustainable Agriculture Integrated Livelihood Institute (www.sailiindia.com ) is

implementing the SWIFT project to promote women's livelihoods through appropriate food-processing technology, solar drying, value addition and market-oriented enterprise

development. Under SWIFT, SAILI will work with women, farmers, SHGs, FPOs and other community stakeholders to reduce post-harvest losses, strengthen processing and drying practices, develop value-added products and create sustainable income opportunities for women. The project will combine community mobilisation, baseline assessment, technical training, solar dryer deployment, processing, product development, branding, packaging and market linkage.

ABOUT THE SWIFT PROJECT
The project will be implemented in Varanasi District in three blocks and will cover approximately 25 villages. The project targets 25 women agri-entrepreneurs, 150 women involved in processing/marketing and more than 2,500 farmers, with an intended reduction in post-harvest losses of at least 20%.

PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
The Community Mobiliser & Market Linkage Expert will be responsible for field-level mobilisation, beneficiary engagement, training support, technology adoption, enterprise handholding and development of market linkages for women-led processing enterprises. The position requires regular field visits and direct engagement with women, SHGs, FPOs, farmers and buyers.

FIELD COORDINATION & DOCUMENTATION
The candidate will maintain documentation on field visits, meetings, beneficiary
participation, training, technology use, product development, market linkages, sales and
enterprise progress. The candidate will also contribute to case studies, success stories,
lessons learned and project progress reports.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE
* Graduate in Agriculture, Agribusiness, Rural Development, Social Work,
Management, Food Processing, Entrepreneurship or related field.
* Preferably 2-3 years of relevant experience in community mobilisation, livelihoods,
agriculture, SHGs/FPOs, food processing, enterprise development or market linkage.
* Experience working directly with rural communities and women.
* Good communication and interpersonal skills.
* Willingness to undertake regular field travel in Varanasi district.
* Basic computer, documentation and reporting skills.
* Fluency in Hindi and English .
Desirable
* Experience in women's livelihood and entrepreneurship programmes.
* Experience in food processing, post-harvest management or value addition.
* Experience in market linkage and buyer engagement.
* Experience working with SHGs/FPOs.
* Knowledge of local/eastern Uttar Pradesh markets

PROBATION & PERFORMANCE REVIEW
The first three months will be treated as a probation period. Performance will be reviewed based on:
* Field engagement and regularity
* Quality of community mobilisation
* Beneficiary identification and participation
* Training and technology adoption support
* Follow-up with women entrepreneurs
* Market mapping and buyer outreach
* Quality of documentation and reporting
* Contribution to project targets

Continuation for the remaining project period will be subject to satisfactory performance.
The selected candidate should be willing to work extensively in rural areas and
contribute to the complete SWIFT process from mobilisation of women to technology
adoption, enterprise development and market linkage.
