About the Role
The Accountant will be responsible for managing the organization's day-to-day accounting and financial records, statutory compliance support, procurement, stock management, logistics, and project/grant-related financial documentation.

Key Responsibilities
Accounting & Finance
Maintain day-to-day accounting records and financial transactions in Tally. Record purchases, expenses, receipts, payments, and journal entries. Maintain project-wise financial records and supporting documents. Conduct bank reconciliation and monitor bank transactions. Maintain records related to grants, donations, and project expenses. Support audit preparation and provide required financial documents.
Tax & Statutory Compliance
Handle TDS-related work, including calculations, records, payments, and documentation. Support statutory filings and compliance requirements. Maintain records required for 12A, 80G, EPF, and other organizational compliances, as applicable.
Project & Grant Support
Maintain project-wise expenditure records and supporting documentation. Assist in preparing financial information required for project reports. Track project-related purchases, payments, and expenses. Support the team during donor/grant audits and financial reviews.

Eligibility & Experience
*Essential*
Graduate and Minimum 2 years of relevant experience. Prior experience working with an NGO/non-profit organization is required. Good working knowledge of Tally, MS Excel and MS Office.
