POSITION ROLE
Field Coordinator, Programs will be responsible for supporting the implementation of program in the assigned locations. S/he will also provide technical support to the community mobilizers for the quality implementation of the program. S/he also will be responsible for collecting and managing field-level data of program activities, supporting the monitoring and evaluation processes, support reviews and statistical analysis at the assigned location.
 
Remain alert and responsive to any safeguarding risks; acquire and maintain the relevant knowledge and skills necessary to promote strong safeguarding practices; understand and adhere to ChildFund India’s Safeguarding Policy and Procedures; and conduct yourself at all times in a manner consistent with ChildFund India’s safeguarding principles and standards.
 
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Support and coordinate program team in effective implementation of project activities in the field locations. 
  • Provide technical support (Health/Education/livelihood/child protection/M&E) to Community Mobilizers for consultations with different stakeholders at the community level. 
  • Support in reaching out to relevant government bodies, national/ local organizations, Youth Clubs, community leaders, gender-inclusive learning spaces and community-based forums.
  • Ensure quality documentation and reporting of the project activities and outcomes.
  • Be well acquainted with internal child development operational policies and procedures.
  • Compile and monitor child development activities at the assigned location and report the same to the Sr. Officer, Project.       
  • Be responsible for maintaining all critical data and information of program at the field locations, in collaboration with field teams.
  • Execute M&E plans in line with guidance from the Program and KML teams, providing timely support to the team.
  • Support team in planning, coordinating, and tracking progress against agreed indicators. 
  • Assess training and assistance needs and provide direct technical assistance to field teams.
  • Develop/ follow guidelines for program documentation and provide support in creation of learning documents.
  • Any other responsibilities as assigned by the Line Manager.
 
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Social Sciences, Management or relevant discipline.
 
Work Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in child development.
 
Language Proficiency:Strong communication skills (both verbal and written) in Hindi, English.
 
Skills and Abilities: Strong computer skills, with familiarity in using Microsoft Office suite applications. Organized, team player, self-starter and results-oriented individual. Be gender sensitive with strong conviction and skills for the empowerment of excluded and disadvantaged children. Excellent communication, analytical, and report-writing skills.

EVALUATION AND SELECTION CRITERIA
Step 1: HR Pre-Screening:All Job Applications received will be collated by HR and preliminary screening will be conducted based on the minimum education and experience requirements mentioned above. The Applicants that do not meet the education and experience criteria will not be considered further for the selection process. All the qualified applications will be handed over by HR to the Selection Panel.
 
Step 2: Qualified applications will be further reviewed by the Selection Panel. The Selection Panel will assess and rank all the applications based on the following factors for a maximum of 100 points:

Step 3: Based on the written test assessment (If or as required), applications will be further shortlisted for Step 3 i.e. Interview. The applications will be evaluated by the Selection Panel for the final selection, based on the following evaluation factors for a maximum of 100 points.

Salary starts at INR 3,64,170 per annum plus benefits, with scope for consideration for adjustment in line with the experience, skills, and knowledge the selected candidate brings.
