• Maternal and Child Health and Nutrition (MCHN)
• Youth Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (YSRHR)
• Communicable Diseases (CDs) such as HIV/AIDS, Tuberculosis, Hepatitis ‘B’ & ‘C’
• Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs)

MAMTA is seeking applications for post of School Mentor– For the Parivartan project supported by Relaxo with the aim of holistic development of 24 primary and upper primary schools of Laksar block, Haridwar and Doiwala and Raiwala block of Dehradun, Uttarakhand. The project intervention focuses on adapting and integrating joyful learning methodologies within the ongoing school curriculum while strengthening the life skills, self-efficacy, health, and wellness outcomes of students. The intervention applies a gender transformative approach aiming to strengthen the learning eco-system while enhancing stakeholder competencies while providing mentoring and handholding support to teachers, parents, and members of the school management committee and sharing the findings with the officials of the Department of Education for replication and sustainability of the initiative.
Educational Qualifications, Experience & Skills:
• A bachelor’s degree in Science or a related field, with preference given to candidates holding a B.Ed.
• A minimum of 1-2 years of proven experience in the teaching or development sector.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct regular visits to schools and communities to deliver sessions and actively engage stakeholders, including teachers, school principals, School Management Committees (SMCs), and parents.
• Facilitate science-based sessions using digital content in schools and communities through the Science Van, as assigned under the project.
• Ensure timely implementation of planned activities while strictly adhering to project timelines and schedules.
• Adapt communication and session delivery methods according to the needs and understanding levels of different audiences.
• Demonstrate strong coordination, multitasking, and attention to detail in day-to-day project activities.
• Engage children in forming and/or activating Baal Sansad and other student-led initiatives.
• Mobilize and involve youth from the community in relevant project activities.
• Facilitate interactive, participatory, and joyful learning sessions to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes.
• Maintain basic documentation and reporting of sessions and field-level activities.
• Basic computer proficiency, including MS Office, is required.
