Position: Junior Trainer – Odisha (Full time - In Office)
Location: Based in Bhubaneshwar with travels across NGO partner locations in Odisha
Purpose of the job
Delivery and quality assurance of Dhwani’s Organizational Change Management (OCM) training programs in the state. The Junior Trainer shall have the responsibility of delivering the training content and ensuring high-quality implementation of training interventions in line with program goals.
Key Responsibilities
1. Training Delivery
- Develop knowledge and skills in all OCM areas and specialize in specific content areas - and take ownership for delivering OCM topics during training sessions.
- Deliver high-impact training sessions in the state
- Ensure training schedules are adhered to, and programs are implemented as planned
- Ensure that documented Training and Workshop process is followed and shared with the Central Team
2. Training Operations & Coordination
- Provide annual training calendar to central training dept.
- Monitor adherence to training timelines and ensure proper documentation of all training activities in the state.
- Participate in post-training reviews and debriefs with trainers.
- Participate in monthly reviews and initiate suitable actions on the suggestions
- Support implementation team in enrollments, SAT submissions, SMT visits, follow up calls and partner visits as required throughout the OCM process. Travel to partner locations, as required.
- Provide hands-on support to NGO partners as required
3. Training Content & Development - Ownership
- Support the design, development, and standardization of Niranthara & Saksham training content and modules, use of diverse training methodologies.
- Ensure timely updates, relevance, and contextualization of content, based on partner needs. Ensure translation of materials into local languages in co-ordination with state teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Update standard PPTs for the modules, templates, manuals, handbooks, handouts, tools, and training aids.
- Develop an in-depth knowledge and understanding of the Niranthara parameters and definitions according to changing contexts and needs within the sector.
- Provide input on the training calendars, monthly workshop/training schedule of Trainers.
4. Training Quality Assurance & Monitoring
- Gather feedback from training participants and analyze outcomes for continuous improvement.
- Document and disseminate success stories, case studies, and learnings.
- Conduct refresher training and corrective action plans as needed. Ensure alignment with Dhwani’s training standards and policies.
5. Stakeholder Engagement
- Collaborate closely with the Program Implementation team for synchronized partner engagement. Engage with Trainers for planning and feedback on training interventions.
- Actively Engage with the Central Training Department in areas of training delivery and content to improve training outcomes.
The job description is dynamic and can change with the organisation structure, policies, requirements, and the changes in the ecosystem in which the organisation operates.
Experience
- Graduate/Postgraduate in Social Sciences, Education, Development Studies, or related fields. Minimum 3-5 years of experience in training, facilitation, and content development.
- Prior experience in the development sector, preferably in capacity building of NGOs.

- Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.
- Expertise in adult learning methodologies and capacity building.
- Strong planning, coordination, and project management capabilities.
- Ability to analyse feedback and adapt training content accordingly.
- Ability to read, speak, write in English , Odia and Hindi (preferable).
Salary: Commensurate with experience
