About the Organization
MAMTA Health Institute for Mother and Child (MAMTA–HIMC) is a national level not-for-profit organization working across 20 states through direct implementation, capacity building, evidence generation, and partnerships with government bodies, corporate CSR, academic institutions, and development agencies. The organization focuses on improving socio-developmental outcomes through education, health, and community-based interventions.
About the Role
We are looking for committed and responsible Relief Programme Volunteers to support field implementation of an emergency flood-relief programme in affected communities of Prayagraj and Chitrakoot. Volunteers will work directly with communities to identify beneficiaries, support relief-kit distribution, maintain basic records, identify and validate vulnerable households and report field-level issues to the Programme Coordinator.
Key Responsibilities
• Visit assigned communities, identify flood-affected families, share relief information, and identify and validate households needing special support.
• Support beneficiary mapping, collect and verify details, and flag duplicate, missing, or vulnerable households.
• Support relief-kit distribution, verify beneficiaries, maintain orderly distribution, and assist vulnerable families.
• Identify families unable to reach distribution points and support safe last-mile delivery and follow-up visits and follow-up on calls.
• Maintain beneficiary and distribution records, document field activities, and submit accurate daily updates.
• Monitor field activities, identify gaps or delays, collect community feedback, and support follow-up verification.
• Promptly report beneficiary disputes, shortages, damaged kits, access issues, safety risks, and other urgent concerns.
• Follow safety guidelines, protect beneficiary information, and maintain respectful and professional conduct.
Qualifications and Competencies
• Minimum 12th pass; graduate preferred.
• Prior experience in volunteering, community mobilization, CSR, social-sector programmes or disaster response is desirable but not mandatory.
• Good communication skills in Hindi.
• Basic smartphone and digital data-entry skills.
• Ability to maintain simple records.
• Willingness to travel within assigned field locations.
• Physically and mentally prepared to work in challenging field conditions.
Renaturation: 15,000–18,000 per month, depending on qualifications and relevant experience.
