The organization focuses on improving socio-developmental outcomes through education, health, and community-based interventions.
About the Role
We are looking for a highly organized, field-oriented and proactive Programme Coordinator to lead implementation of an emergency flood-relief programme covering affected communities in Prayagraj and Chitrakoot. The Coordinator will translate the approved relief plan into effective field implementation, ensuring relief reaches identified vulnerable families on time, transparently and with dignity.
Key Responsibilities
• Programme Planning & Implementation: Develop and manage daily field plans covering affected locations, beneficiary mapping, verification, relief distribution and follow-up; track progress against the family target and ensure activities are completed within approved timelines and budgets.
• Government & Stakeholder Coordination: Coordinate with district/block/local administration, government officials, frontline workers and local representatives to ensure smooth field operations, access to affected communities and timely resolution of issues; maintain records of key communications and meetings.
• Vendor & Relief Material Management: Coordinate with vendors for preparation, quality checking and timely delivery of relief kits; monitor stock, storage and movement of materials and promptly address shortages, quality issues or delays.
• Relief Distribution & Last-Mile Support: Prepare location-wise distribution plans, deploy volunteers and ensure transparent distribution against verified beneficiary records; coordinate last-mile delivery for vulnerable or inaccessible families, including approved boat/steamer support where required.
• MIS, Monitoring & Reporting: Maintain accurate MIS on beneficiaries, kits distributed, location-wise coverage, vulnerable groups, pending cases, volunteer deployment and field activities; conduct regular monitoring and submit timely daily, weekly and final reports.
Qualifications and Competencies
• Graduate/Postgraduate in Social Work, Rural Development, Development Studies, Public Administration, Management or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant field experience in CSR, humanitarian response, disaster relief, community development or social-sector programmes.
• Experience working with government departments/local administration is strongly preferred.
• Experience managing field teams or community volunteers.
• Strong MS Excel/data-management and reporting skills.
• Good written and verbal communication in Hindi and English.
• Willingness to undertake extensive field travel in affected areas.
Renaturation: 35,000–38,000 per month, depending on qualifications and relevant experience.
