About the Project
|
In line with Unilever's vision of 'sustainable community development '- reflecting the aspirations of building resilient local communities at the grassroots level, and the aim to enhance value creation in the society and community in which it operates, IPE CKD will lead the implementation of Prabhat Nutrition Projectto radically improve health and nutrition status for pregnant and lactating women, young mothers, and their children up to 3 years.
Our approach will be to i) motivate pregnant and lactating women to eat locally available nutritious food (more protein and micronutrients) during and after pregnancy; ii) train frontline nutrition workers to deliver specific messages and motivate mothers to eat 'more' and 'better' food; iii) target messaging to mothers and other caregivers of children aged 0 – 5 years to ensure that they also consume nutritious diversified food, and iv) create awareness among adolescent girls on Anemia control and menstrual hygiene.

Job Description
|
Position Summary
1. Capacity Building & Training: Plan, develop and facilitate capacity-building initiatives, training programmes and workshops for programme field teams, and frontline workers.
2. Social & Behaviour Change Strategy: Support the development and implementation of evidence-based Social and Behaviour Change (SBC) strategies aligned with programme objectives and target audience needs.
3. Training Aids & Tools: Design engaging, user-friendly and context-specific training aids, facilitator guides, job aids and learning tools to strengthen knowledge and skills.
- Design high-quality creative assets for social and behavior change campaigns, public awareness initiatives, reports, presentations, digital media, and print collateral.
- Develop visually engaging infographics, illustrations, and data visualizations for development communication projects.
- Create and edit motion graphics, explainer videos, and short-form multimedia content for digital platforms and events.
4. Communication Materials: Develop impactful communication materials, including IEC/SBC resources, presentations, digital content and audience-specific messaging to support programme outreach.
5. Programme Documentation & Testimonials: Identify programme-level success stories and develop compelling beneficiary testimonials that capture outcomes, experiences and behavioural changes.
6. Case Studies & Knowledge Management: Develop high-quality case studies and programme narratives to document innovations, lessons learned, best practices and impact for internal and external dissemination.
As job descriptions cannot be exhaustive, the selected candidate may be required to undertake other duties as determined by Project Lead that are broadly in line with the above key responsibilities.

Qualification & Experience
|
Essential
- Master’s degree in Social Sciences, Development Studies, Communication, Behaviour Change Communication, or a related field.
- Strong command on Adobe creative studio – photoshop, illustrator, Indesign, After effects, Premier Pro.
- Proficiency in content creation and distribution tools such as Canva, Mailchimp1, and social media management platforms.
- 7-8 years of relevant experience in capacity building, training, Social and Behaviour Change (SBC), health/nutrition communication, or development programmes.
- Demonstrated experience in designing and delivering training programmes, including development of training modules, facilitator guides, job aids and other learning resources.
- Strong understanding of Social and Behaviour Change approaches, audience segmentation, behaviour change principles and community-focused communication.
- Proven ability to develop high-quality communication materials, case studies, testimonials, success stories and programme documentation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong storytelling, content development and presentation abilities.
- Demonstrated expertise in developing and managing digital strategies and content plans across platforms.
- Ability to work collaboratively with programme, technical and field teams, manage multiple deliverables and translate technical information into clear, engaging content.
Desirable
- Experience of working on programs related to maternal child health and nutrition.
- Preference will be given to those having previous experience of working with demanding clients, private foundations and corporates.
- Experience in implementing projects with components of Social and Behavior Change Communication.

Contract Type and Period
|
The contract will be for a period of 12 months and subject to renewal based on the performance.

|
Competitive compensation commensurate with qualifications, relevant experience, and demonstrated expertise.
