We are looking for a dedicated, proactive, and responsible Project Manager to coordinate and implement project activities in Tirukoilur, Kallakurichi District, Tamil Nadu.

Role Overview

The Project Manager will be responsible for planning, coordinating, monitoring, and implementing project activities in accordance with the organization's objectives. The selected candidate will work closely with the organization’s team, community members, and relevant stakeholders to ensure effective project implementation and timely achievement of project targets.

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning and Implementation: Plan, coordinate, and implement project activities in line with approved objectives, timelines, and work plans.

Team and Community Coordination: Coordinate with project staff, community members, local institutions, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth implementation of activities.

Monitoring and Reporting: Monitor project progress, maintain records of activities, document outcomes, and prepare periodic progress reports for the organization.

Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintain project files, attendance records, activity reports, photographs, and other relevant documentation.

Field Visits and Follow-up: Conduct field visits to monitor activities, identify implementation challenges, and ensure timely follow-up.

Administrative Coordination: Support the preparation of activity schedules, meetings, budgets, and other project-related administrative requirements.

Communication and Teamwork: Maintain effective communication with the organization's management and ensure that project activities are carried out responsibly and efficiently.

Candidate Profile
Education: A graduate degree in Social Work, Sociology, Rural Development, Development Studies, or a related discipline is desirable.
Experience: Prior experience in project coordination, NGO activities, community development, or social-sector programmes will be an advantage.
Skills: Good organizational, communication, coordination, and reporting skills.
Computer Knowledge: Basic proficiency in MS Word, Excel, email, and digital documentation.
Language Skills: Proficiency in Tamil is essential. Basic English communication and report-writing skills are desirable.
Personal Qualities: A self-motivated, sincere, and result-oriented individual with a commitment to community development.

Remuneration
The consolidated remuneration for this position is 15,000 per month.
