POSITION : Community Coordinator (PRI)
NUMBER OF POSITIONS : 01
REPORTS TO : District Lead PRI & CE
Uttarakhand Rudrapur
Posting Date : October 9, 2026
Closing Date : October 20, 2026
Background
World Health Partners (WHP) is a non-profit organization mandated to deliver holistic healthcare to underserved communities by innovatively leveraging available resources more efficiently. Evidencebased management and technological solutions that are sophisticated to work in extremely lowresource settings are the hallmarks of WHP’s programming strategy. WHP believes that it is unconscionable to divide resources on ideological basis—such as public and private sectors—since low resource settings mandate a focus on collectivizing all existing resources to achieve better outcomes.
WHP is best known for its programs focused on early detection and treatment of tuberculosis in urban and rural settings supported by community-based activities to ensure prevention. WHP currently operates its projects in Bihar, Jharkhand, Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, Gujarat and Delhi.
About the project
WHP is implementing the IMPACT India Project, supported by The Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria (GFATM), under the grant cycle 2024–2027, in selected districts across Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand. The key project interventions include TB Vijeta (TBV) Engagement and TB Mukt Gram Panchayat (TBMGP) activities, implemented in close collaboration with the State and District National TB Elimination Programme (NTEP), Panchayati Raj and Rural Development Departments, and other relevant stakeholders.
The project geography in each state is structured around the two primary interventions, TB Mukt Gram Panchayat (TBMGP) and TB Vijeta (TBV) Engagement, through a cluster-based approach. Under this structure, one district in each cluster hosts both interventions, while the remaining districts focus primarily on TBV Engagement. The District Coordinator – TBV Engagement is based at the headquarters of the TBV Engagement-focused district and is responsible for coordinating, overseeing and monitoring the implementation of the intervention at the district level, in coordination with NTEP and other relevant stakeholders.
