Project Overview
The Programme aims to drive behaviour change through a multifaceted approach targeting schools and communities. It also focuses on building teacher capacity to deliver a curriculum that fosters critical thinking, decision-making, and analytical skills among students through experiential and interactive methods.
The program will cover 100 selected schools across Bhavnagar district through dedicated sanitation teams.
Scope of Work – Manpower Agency for Provision of Sanitation Workers (Location – Bhavnagar, Gujarat)
The selected manpower agency/service provider shall be responsible for the recruitment, deployment, management and supervision of sanitation workers to undertake sanitation and hygiene-related activities across the assigned government schools in Bhavnagar district.
The agency's scope of work shall include the following:
- Recruit and deploy 3 full-time Sanitation Workers.
- Ensure all workers have valid identity documents.
- Provide trained personnel capable of carrying out sanitation and hygiene-related activities.
- Ensure daily attendance and punctuality.
- Replace any sanitation worker within 48 hours in case of resignation, absenteeism, or poor performance.
- Ensure workers comply with all programme guidelines and school protocols.
- Provide regular supervision and performance monitoring.
- Submit monthly attendance and deployment reports.
- Ensure compliance with labour laws, minimum wages, EPF, ESIC (where applicable), and other statutory requirements.
- Undertake 3–4 daily visits to assigned government schools to clean and maintain toilets and urinals.
- Waste collection and disposal
- Cleaning of drinking water areas
- Disinfection of high-touch surfaces
