About the Programme
Master of Public Health (Implementation Science) has been specially designed to provide students with comprehensive interdisciplinary skills in implementation science in the domain of public health for Low and Middle-Income Countries (LMIC). The course has been created meticulously to emphasize the importance of contextual factors, understanding of the relationships between the research evidence to guide on the possible the intervention strategies available, the context of implementation with a mapping of facilitators and barriers for more effective adoption, scale-up, and sustainability of public health interventions.

Program Duration
The Master of Public Health (Implementation Science) Programme is a two-year full-time degree programme, of which first year will be on campus course work and second year will be devoted to field-based practicum in an organization / program in candidate’s home country The MPH (IS) programme 2024-2026 will commence from October 2024 at IIHMR University, Jaipur Campus.
Eligibility
The applicant should
- Have Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree(s) in Health Sciences (Medicine, Nursing, Midwifery, including allied Health Sciences) or in Social Sciences (Anthropology, Public Health, Food and Nutrition, Sociology, Psychology, or any other Social Sciences Discipline);
- Have proficiency in oral and written English and basic biostatistics.
- Meet the academic requirements: -A bachelor’s degree with a cumulative Grade Point Average of at least 3.00 out of 4 or TOEFL paper-based score (PBT) of at least 550, Internet-based score (IBT) of at least 80 or IELTS score of at least 5.5 -Desk evaluation on undergraduate academic documents
- Have basic computer skills including Microsoft Office and Data Analysis Software.
- Candidates with experience of 2-3 years in relevant fields will be given weightage.

Scholarship
Limited Scholarship is available for the MPH Program. Students from India and eligible countries of EMRO will be offered a TDR Scholarship to support their interest in the MPH program.
The TDR scholarship covers:
- Economy airfare between the home country of the student and India.
- Tuition and academic fees.
- Basic medical and accident insurance.
- Boarding and lodging for the duration of stay at IIHMR campus (On campus in-residence will be compulsory)
- IT lab and on campus Wi-Fi facilities; and
- Support for thesis project expenses during data collection
