Trust for Reaching the Unreached (TRU), a not-for-profit organization established in 1987, works in urban Vadodara and the Panchmahal district of Gujarat to improve people's quality of life. Our Community Mental Health Program (CMHP), established in 2004, now serves 4 talukas, providing treatment and support for mental health disorders. TRU announces a four-month training program on Community Mental Health to train people to address the poor quality of life caused by mental health disorders in their communities. This program, built on years of training expertise, equips you to make a difference.
Key features of the program:
· Hybrid mode: 3 contact sessions of 2-4 days with online sessions in between
· Hands-on experience with persons with mental health disorders
· Hands-on experience working in the community
· Sessions conducted in simple language, supported by experienced practitioners.
· Bilingual instruction (Gujarati and Hindi).
· Includes: Accommodation, meals, local transport (you cover travel to Shivrajpur campus)
· Fee: Rs. 10,000/-nominal, commitment fee, non-refundable
· Certificate: Awarded on successful completion.
