Regional Manager Training will be in charge of the all the functions related to capacity building of CFL team members. S/he will be responsible for ensuring project implementation as per the implementation plan. S/he will understand training needs of team members and curate trainings accordingly. S/he will ensure skill assessment and continuum of capacity building for CFL team members. S/he will gather specific requirements from the ground and share the same with Regional Head / Head Implementation and Head L & D and M & E for developing suitable training material / capsules. S/he through Capacity Building Officers will ensure hard copy of data formats are filled up correctly and shared with DEO for daily entry. Based on on-ground feedback, S/he will modify the strategy. S/he will be responsible for monitoring the CFLs and, with support from Manager/ Capacity Building Officer, ensure that on ground trainings are held as per plan and quality maintained. S/he will closely work with RM Operations to ensure overall target achievement for State / region.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
Outreach –

Conduct weekly catch up with RM Operations to understand village wise achievement. Provide support wherever required

Participate in developing strategy for completing outreach targets including enhancing linkages on ground.
Finance –

Track budget v/s actual spends

Ensure optimal utilization for budget – CFL wise

Prepare training budget and share the same with finance

Ensure all training bills are submitted on time and track payment for the same.

Red flags if any, share with Regional Head / Head Implementation

Ensure timely preparation of Opex by ensuring timely expense submission

Ensure assets procurement through procurement and tracking at CFL level

Along with RM Operations, track funds and ensure optimal utilization. Flag red flags if any to Head Implementation.
HR –

Ensure HR related compliances – vacancies filled up immediately, timely attendance submissions, entry and exit, F & F (within 45 days)

Provide platform for grievance redressal

Coordinate with HR for R & R

Conduct appraisals of team members and provide feedback in coordination with HR
Admin and reporting –

Ensure monthly report submission to Banks, RBI

Ensure monthly report submission – internal reports to CRISIL

Ensure team submits monthly plan and achievement to LDMs, banks and RBI RO
Capacity building and communication –

Support the Head L&D and M & E to prepare the training toolkit for CFL project including content, tools, pedagogy etc. as well as support in design, translate and print the toolkits as required in the project

Ensure capacity building of all team members

Planning and execution of physical training for team members

Execute skill assessment for team members

Ensure availability of training materials in CFLs

Get feedback from RM Operations on field team’s requirements

Conduct monthly / quarterly review with the team – for progress and new skills

Ensure flow of case studies for newsletter

Ensure required details are shared with Head L & D, M & E for social media posts along with data sharing consent

Prepare and share mailing list for MoneyWise CFL Newsletter circulation

Provide region specific insights for content development

Based on field insights develop suitable training material

Support the Head L&D to prepare the training manual, SOPs and calendar for CFL

Report divergences, suggest corrective measures and updates

Based on the need, identify trainers for area level, plan and monitor their trainings for building capacities of field teams.

Check, validate and process the claims submitted by the trainers

With inputs from Capacity Building officers, District Manager, map competencies and firm up L & D process for the team, prepare plan/ calendar and execute training

Through Capacity Building Officer, conduct annual needs assessment of the project team mapped

Ensure timely reports from the trainers and share the same with Head L & D

Monitoring and handholding –

Plan and conduct field visits based on the data

Share field visits reports with CFL team, Regional Head / Head Implementation and Head L & D and M & E

Ensure ATR submission from field team

Based on the data, work out plan with team for their monitoring and handholding visits

Check monitoring visit reports of Capacity Building Officers to understand and map progress
Stakeholder Management –

Along with RM Operations, plan stakeholder meetings on pre-defined intervals.

Ensure ATR

In case of any challenges with stakeholders, share the same with Head Implementation for further action

Under the guidance of Head L & D , M & E, organise regional level stakeholder meetings to ensure visibility of CRISIL Foundation and gain insights on FL/ FI landscape of the region.
Data and MIS

Ensure uniform data formats are used for capturing field level data in hard copies

Support RM Operations wherever required to ensure data is shared with M & E team for Dhwani upload

Support RM Operations wherever required to ensure regular data entry in ADEPT portal

Ensure submission of visit reports in pre – defined formats

Using checklist ensure that quality of programmes and outcomes in the field are achieved as planned

Ensure quality of the training delivered by the trainers (for field teams – regional, area)

Travel extensively to the field to observe, suggest corrective measures and provide handholding as per need

Conduct and participate in regular trainings and ToTs at all levels in the project

Gather and compile feedback from the field on the relevance and effectiveness of content, tools, pedagogy and trainings
