About Calcutta Foundation:
Calcutta Foundation, through its flagship program Apni Kutir, aims to support women in every step of their journeys towards financial independence through three major verticals: skilling & literacy, individual development, and community building. We have 15 centres running, currently, which operate across West Bengal and Bihar. Young girls and women enrol in several different skills development classes at the centres, including tailoring, beauty and wellness training, and digital literacy. Through our programs, we employ a 360-degree approach to supporting women in every aspect of their journeys to financial independence.

Responsibilities:
1. Centre and Training Management:
- Develop, implement, and evaluate vocational training programs.
- Facilitate computer and English language courses at the centre.
- Organise small workshops or events for the betterment of women and the community.
2. Student Support:
- Oversee student recruitment, enrollment, and orientation processes.
- Provide guidance and support to students throughout their training programs.
- Monitor student progress, address concerns, and implement interventions to support
student success.
3. Community Mobilisation:
- Develop and conduct awareness campaigns to mobilise women from nearby areas.
- Build connections within the local community to promote centre activities.
4. Centre Administration:
- Maintain accurate records of student enrollment, attendance, and academic progress.
- Prepare reports and documentation of centre activities.
- Ensure a collaborative and supportive work environment for the staff.
5. Other Duties:
- Travel locally for field visits as required.
- Work closely with the central team and follow guidance from the central office.
- Any additional tasks assigned by the organisation.

Qualifications:
- Graduate in any discipline.
- Proficiency in computer applications and learning management systems.
- Good writing skills in English and workable speaking skills in English, Bengali, and Hindi.
- Strong organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Must be self-driven, able to travel independently, and work effectively in a team.
- Preference will be given to local women candidates.
