Job Title: Trust Accountant (Full-Time, Permanent)
Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Accountant specialized in Fiduciary and Trust accounting. You will be responsible for maintaining records for statutory audits as per [Section 12A/12AB]
Key Responsibilities
- Income Record: Record and categorize trust income (donations, corpus funds, grants). Issue Section 80G certificates to donors and maintain the database of all receipts.
- Spiritual literature sale and paraphernalia sale: Record properly sales per month.
Daily Accounting: Maintain and update books of accounts using inhouse software and TallyPrime
Statutory Compliance: Handle monthly and quarterly filings for GST (GSTR-1, 3B), TDS, and Income Tax.
Reconciliations: Perform regular bank, vendor, and customer account reconciliations.
Tax Exemptions: Ensure compliance with Sections 11, 12, and 13 of the Income Tax Act to maintain tax-exempt status.
Statutory Filings: Prepare and file Form 10B/10BB (Audit Reports) and ITR-7 (Annual Returns for Trusts).
FCRA Compliance: If applicable, maintain separate books for foreign contributions and file Form FC-4 annually.
MIS Reporting: Provide monthly reports on fund availability and project-wise spending to the Board of Trustees.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Education: B.Com or M.Com degree; CA Inter or professional certifications like CMA/ACCA are a plus.
- Experience: 3+ years in an NGO, Educational Trust, or Social Sector organization.
Software Proficiency: Expert knowledge of TallyPrime and advanced MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
Knowledge: Strong understanding of Indian accounting standards and the latest GST/TDS regulations.Good understanding of the Indian Trusts Act, 1882, and FCRA regulations.

Salary: Competitive based on experience (above Rs 3 LPA)
