Organization: ASHA NGO - Dearah Association for Social and Humanitarian Action, a non - profit organisation registered under the West Bengal Societies Registration Act, FCRA, 2010 and U/s 12 AA & 80 G of the Income Tax Act, CSR has been working on Preventive Healthcare, Child Protection, Gender issues and other raised issues prevalent in the Sundarbans regions bordering Bangladesh (District: North 24 Parganas, West Bengal).

Project goal: Emergence of Child marriage and Child labour free community’ through the active and responsive child protection system at Block levels

Project objective: Preventing exploitation of children at risk from child marriage, child labours, child trafficking and other harms and enabling them tackle the situation involving the community, the Block level Stakeholders & other government officials

Role: We are seeking a motivated Project Coordinator to lead and manage a Child Protection project nurturing the group of adolescent children, parents engaging a range of stakeholders

Responsibilities:

? Being responsible for the overall progress of the project in 16 villages;
? Holding regular meetings with team members on project progress;
? Maintaining liaison with stakeholders and government officials as well as the Funding agency;
? Maintaining field visits and other government offices relevant to the project;
? Preparing project related reports, action plans and other information;
? Coordinating with the accounting and administration team, monitoring and documentation officer and donors;
? Representing the organization at meetings, seminars, workshops, conferences and other similar events;

Qualifications:

? Graduation (Humanity) with the experience of like job responsibilities of at least 3 years

? Sound knowledge of MS Office

Desirables:

• Leadership and problem-solving ability
• Experience in project management
• Understanding of social issues
• Communicative English & Hindi with Bengali as native language
• Flexible to travel to the project locations & district administration

Mode of selection: Written & Interview

CTC: 29000 – 31850 INR per month
