Eligibility: GNM/ANM, Computer Technology savvy
Experience: minimum 1 year, with experience in OT management
Salary: - GNM - 18,000/-
ANM – 15,000/-
Responsibilities:-
• She will be reporting to & work under the guidance of the Medical Officer
• To ensure that the client’s rights are fulfilled.
• Responsible for day to day running of the clinic activities.
• She will actively participate in BCC/ IEC Activities in the clinic as well as in the field.
• She is in charge for the Infection Prevention & Implementation of Bio Safety Measures.
Duties: -
• Registration and history taking of the clients
• To provide SRH including Contraceptive Counseling services including Emergency Contraception as required.
• To provide MCH services (Antenatal care, Post Natal Care, Immunization, Information on Nutrition, Breast Feeding, Child Care)
• To provide Pre & Post Abortion Counseling, Informed consent and other services related to safe abortions
• To provide information and counseling on RTI/STI/HIV-AIDS.
• To improve access to youth friendly services and provide Counseling on Adolescent Reproductive Health.
• To supervise the functioning of Clinic and other health functionaries to ensure quality of services.
• To maintain logistics of drugs, contraceptives, clinical instruments/equipment’s, linen etc. and ensure adequate supply.
• To supervise support staff & ensure cleanliness & infection prevention measures are carried out.
• To assist the surgeon/MO in clinical and surgical procedures.
• Pre operative preparation of the OT as per the ESS guidelines ensuring quality of care.
• To ensure follow up of sterilization, IUD, ANC, PNC cases & complications as and when required.
• To assist the PM & MO in conducting the training programmes/IEC Activities and in preparing the monthly reports.
Maintenance of all clinic records like:
1. OPD register
2. Contraceptive register
3. MTP register
4. Sterilization register
5. OT Maintenance register- Fumigation, Boyle’s apparatus, AC, Generator, Autoclave
6. ANC/PNC register
7. Clinic Attendance register
8. Stock register- drugs, instruments/equipment, linen &other supplies
9. Complications & Referral register
10. Immunization register
11. Infertility case register
12. Case papers, follow up cards etc.
• Any other duty/ task assigned by the Medical Officer, Staff Nurse and Project Coordinator
