Job Description
CKD is hiring Implementation Support Officers (ISOs) for a large-scale maternal cash plus programme. The project is focused on the strengthening maternal nutrition interventions including cash transfer scheme and social behaviour change communication platforms with focus on positive pregnancy outcomes. The Implementation Support Officer will be responsible for on-ground execution, coordination, and monitoring of project activities at the subdistrict level (up to 1-3 blocks), ensuring frontline convergence and effective service delivery to beneficiaries.
 
Key Responsibilities
 
Field-Level Implementation
  • Support implementation of project interventions at Anganwadi, village, and community levels.
  • Coordinate with sub-district level officials for beneficiary identification and follow-up.
  • Ensure timely enrolment and utilisation of cash benefits by eligible women.
  • Ensure regular activities planned under the SBCC strategies in the program in coordination with the sub-district level officials
Monitoring & Supportive Supervision
  • Track block-wise /facility/ unit-wise performance against monthly targets.
  • Conduct regular field visits to AWCs, home visits, and villages to monitor effective implementation of the planned activities.
  • Support frontline workers in resolving operational challenges and continuous capacity building.
  • Conduct regular supportive supervision visits to ensure timely target achievement and quality of services at household and facility level
  • Participate in block meeting at the target districts and regular meeting with block officials
Community Engagement & SBCC
  • Facilitate community meetings, PLA sessions, and awareness activities.
  • Support local SBCC campaigns targeting women, families, and influencers.
  • Gather community feedback and report behavioural barriers.
Data & Reporting
  • Maintain block and sub-district-level trackers and submit regular updates to DIM.
  • Timely updating of the project MIS
  • Support verification and correction of beneficiary data.
  • Assist in documentation of success stories and learnings.
As job descriptions cannot be exhaustive, the selected candidate may be required to undertake other duties that are broadly in line with the above key responsibilities.

Qualification
  • Graduate/Postgraduate in Social Work, Public Health, Nutrition, or Development Studies
  • 6-8 years of field-level programme implementation experience
  • Familiarity with ICDS/NHM systems and community processes preferred
Contract Type and Period
This will be a fixed term contract.
 
The contract will be initially for a period of one year, extendable thereafter, based on performance. CKD is a fast-growing organization with a large portfolio of programmes across India and there could be opportunity for long term association for exceptionally good candidates on mutually agreed terms.
Compensation
The compensation package will be commensurate with qualification & experience and the last salary drawn.
