Educational Qualification and Experience for the post of Headmistress

Post Graduate, B.Ed. with 10 to 15 years of teaching experience in a reputed school or as a Headmistress in a school. Knowledge of English (spoken and writing essential.

Job responsibilities of the Headmistress
• Manage & oversee all aspects of running an educational facility.
• In charge of students, staff and the day-to-day operation running of the school.
• To prepare the school’s annual plan, monthly, quarterly and annual reports.
• Monitoring the school’s discipline and performing administrative duties.
• Supervising the staff, building relationships with students, parents and neighbourhood schools.
• Organise, attend and conduct meetings- PTA, staff, monthly etc.
• Review the work of the teachers & responsible for developing the school timetable.
• Teach an agreed number of periods per week.
