Qualification
• Minimum education: 12th standard
• Good knowledge of local language and MSM community
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a team and in flexible field conditions
• Willingness to work in the field

*Key Roles & Responsibilities*
• Conduct regular field outreach and build rapport with MSM populations
• Prepare and implement micro-plans for assigned hotspots
• Support, guide, and supervise Peer Educators from MSM community
• Conduct IPC/BCC sessions on HIV/STI prevention and safer sexual behaviors
• Mobilize MSM individuals for services and ensure referrals (ICTC, STI, ART, etc.)
• Distribute and manage commodities (condoms, lubricants, IEC materials, etc.)
• Support crisis response and community-level interventions
• Maintain field-level data, registers, and records accurately
• Ensure timely reporting as per project requirements
• Coordinate with local stakeholders and support advocacy activities for MSM rights and health access.

MSM Typology Description
MSM (Men who have Sex with Men) refers to men who engage in sexual activity with other men, regardless of their sexual identity (gay, bisexual, heterosexual, married, etc.). This group is recognized as a High-Risk Group (HRG) for HIV/STI transmission due to:
• Hidden sexual networks and multiple partners
• Social stigma and discrimination limiting access to health services
• Higher vulnerability to HIV/STI infections without targeted interventions
The MSM Outreach Worker plays a vital role in:
• Building trust and rapport within MSM communities
• Promoting safe sexual practices and reducing stigma
• Linking MSM individuals to HIV/STI testing, treatment, and ART services
• Strengthening peer-led interventions and community mobilization
Reporting
• Report to Project Manager
• Submit regular field reports on time
Salary
• Salary and travel allowance as per USACS–NACO norms
• ?10,500/- per month + ?1,500/- travel allowance
