Job Description: Manager – Health Program
Job Overview
The Program Manager – Health Program will lead the planning, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of public health initiatives. The role focuses on strengthening community health systems, improving access to healthcare services, and implementing programs related to Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs), maternal & child health, and preventive healthcare. The position requires strong leadership, coordination with government stakeholders, and effective program execution at field level.
He / She will work closely with the Chairman to ensure the successful execution of projects, while also leading specific initiatives and managing day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities
1. Program Planning & Implementation
• Plan and execute health programs, including camps, trainings, and awareness activities.
• Prepare work plans, budgets, and timelines.
2. Public Health Program Management
• Manage programs on NCDs, MCH, nutrition, and preventive healthcare.
• Ensure quality service delivery at community level.
3. Training & Capacity Building
• Conduct training for ASHA, ANM, AWW, and community volunteers.
• Develop training materials and strengthen frontline worker capacity.
4. Monitoring, Evaluation & Reporting
• Track KPIs and program outcomes.
• Conduct field monitoring and prepare reports.
• Document case studies and impact.
5. Stakeholder Coordination
• Liaise with government departments, CSR partners, and NGOs.
• Represent the organization in meetings and forums.
6. Community Engagement & Awareness
• Implement awareness campaigns and BCC activities.
• Engage community leaders and institutions.
7. Proposal Development & Fundraising
• Support proposal writing and donor reporting.
• Identify funding opportunities.
8. Team Management
• Lead and supervise program staff.
• Ensure team coordination and performance management.
Required Qualifications
• Master’s Degree in Public Health (MPH), Social Work, or related field.
• 2– 5 years of experience in public health programs (NGO/CSR sector preferred).
• Experience in NCDs, MCH, or community health programs.
• Strong skills in program management, reporting, and training.

Remuneration: of Rs.30,000 per month, based on last drawn salary and relevant experience.
