Bangalore Rural Educational and Development Society (BREADS) is a Registered Charitable
Trust of the Don Bosco network in Karnataka and Kerala States. With 33 years of experience and implementing 625+ projects, BREADS has impacted the
development of more than 10,00,000 marginalised children, women and youth through its 48 Don Bosco and other partners, especially in rural and underserved locations. BREADS is part of an international network of Don Bosco organisations working in 136 countries across the globe. Our initiatives across the two states are focused on promoting the rights of vulnerable and rural children and youth through awareness, activism and systemic change.

We are looking for an Assistant Programmes Manager in Bangalore, who will monitor and report on various projects across Karnataka.

Key Responsibilities:
Engage actively with project staff and Directors to offer required project support
Monitor ongoing projects through regular visits and online methods
Report on project activities through established MIS systems in coordination with the Project Manager
Create and post news about the projects on BREADS' social media

Qualifications and Requirements:
Degree in Social Work (Master’s degree preferred).
At least 2 years of experience in NGOs.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Fluency in Kannada (mandatory), plus strong reporting skills in English
Passion for child welfare and social work.
Good design and social media skills for creating communication deliverables
