Job Title: Project Coordinator
Location: MACT Head office, Kodambakkam, Chennai
Position Type: Full-time
Education: MSW/ Public Health/Sociology
Reporting: Project Director

Key Responsibilities:
1. Project Management:
• Manage project planning, scheduling, and execution to adhere to project timelines.
• Monitor and report on project plans, schedules, work hours, budgets, and expenditures.
• Identify, manage and resolve project-related issues or challenges.
• Organize and lead project meetings.

2. Networking and Stakeholder Engagement:
• Engage stakeholders, including government officials, government affiliated ministers, partners and community members and build strong relationships to champion initiatives.
• Represent the organization at relevant meetings, conferences and events.

3. Reporting and Documentation:
• Collect and consolidate project monitoring/progress reports to the organisation’s director and donors.
• Collect and consolidate monthly and annual operational work plans from project staff.

4. Human Resource Management:
• Supervise and support a team of project staff, including training and capacity-building.

5. Evaluation and Monitoring:
• Conduct regular field visits to monitor project activities, assess impact, and address challenges.
• Design and implement evaluation mechanisms to measure project effectiveness.

Qualifications and Skills:
• Any of the following degrees are acceptable: MSW, Public Health, Sociology
• 2+ years’ experience
