About the Organization:
Nav Srishti is a registered non-profit organization working since 1994 towards the empowerment of women and children, focusing on preventing violence, promoting gender equality, and strengthening community-based support systems.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Program Coordinator to lead and manage the Gender Based Violence (GBV) Program. The candidate will be responsible for planning, implementation, coordination, and monitoring of program activities at the community level.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and implement GBV program interventions at the community level
• Coordinate with stakeholders including government departments, police, legal services, and community groups
• Supervise field staff and ensure quality program delivery
• Organize awareness sessions, trainings, and stakeholder meetings
• Maintain documentation, reports, and case records
• Strengthen referral mechanisms for survivors of violence

Qualifications & Experience:
• Master’s degree in Social Work, Gender Studies, Sociology, MBA or related field
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Gender Based Violence or women’s rights programs
• Strong understanding of GBV issues, laws, and support systems
• Experience in community mobilization and stakeholder engagement
• Good communication, reporting, and leadership skills
Skills Required:
• Strong interpersonal and coordination skills
• Ability to work in challenging community settings
• Proficiency in MS Office and report writing
• Fluency in Hindi and English
