About the Project: Empowering Gram Panchayats Through Enhancing Participation and
Leadership Development of Adolescents and Youth (EGPL-DAY)
The EGPL-DAY project addresses the critical issue of the limited participation and leadership of

adolescent girls in Gram Panchayats (GPs), particularly in regions like Ramgarh, where socio-
economic challenges are exacerbated by a reliance on coal mining. Societal norms, educational

disparities, and inadequate representation have led to significant underrepresentation of adolescent
girls in local governance structures.
Core Responsibilities :
Project Planning and Coordination:
Collaborate with project managers to define project objectives, deliverables, and timelines.
Assist in developing and maintaining detailed project plans, schedules, and workflows.
Coordinate resources, ensuring team members have the tools and information required to
execute tasks effectively.
Stakeholder Communication:
Act as the primary liaison among project teams, clients, and other stakeholders to ensure
alignment on objectives and progress.
Prepare and deliver comprehensive project reports, including status updates, risk
assessments, and performance metrics.
Organize and facilitate meetings, including agenda preparation, note-taking, and follow-up
on action items.
Risk Management and Issue Resolution:
Identify potential risks and collaborate with project managers to develop mitigation
strategies.

Monitor project progress to ensure adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
Escalate critical issues to relevant stakeholders promptly, proposing actionable solutions.

Documentation and Compliance:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including contracts, schedules,
and change requests.
Ensure all activities comply with organizational policies and regulatory compliances.
Qualifications and Skills:
Master’s Degree in Social Work/ Rural Development or a related field.
Over 2 years of relevant experience.

Salary : 25k per month
