1. Role:- Project Officer

a) Job Description: -

• Plan, facilitate, and execute school-level and community-level meetings with SMC members, teachers, students, and Gram Panchayat representatives
• Design and implement WASH awareness campaigns, including IEC materials, school rallies, hygiene sessions, and student engagement activities
• Supervise, support, and monitor school WASH facilities, sanitation workers
• Ensure proper operation and maintenance (O&M) of school sanitation infrastructure, including toilets, handwashing stations, and waste management systems
• Coordinate with school authorities, PRI members, and frontline workers for effective implementation of WASH activities
• Maintain records related to school WASH committees, activities, and infrastructure status as per standard formats
• Report directly to the Project Manager for all assigned roles and responsibilities
• Ensure proper solid and liquid waste management practices in schools, including segregation, composting, and disposal
• Conduct training and capacity-building sessions for teachers, students, and sanitation workers on hygiene and WASH practices
• Promote behaviour change activities focusing on handwashing, sanitation, and environmental cleanliness
• Undertake any other tasks assigned by the Project Manager

b) Experience:- 3-4 Years in Development Sector/ Corporate Sector on the areas of WASH, Waste Management, School Education, Skill Development, Training and Capacity Building

c) Qualification:- Post Graduation in Social work, Social sciences & rural development or any other equivalent degree.
d) Skills Required:-

o Should have working knowledge of MS Office, Google Sheets & Forms, and other Tools required to generate reports/case studies,etc.

o Basic knowledge of sanitation and waste management.
o Strong written and verbal communication skills in English & Marathi.
o Strong presentation skills.

e) Location:- Ranjangaon, Pune, Maharashtra

f) Remuneration:- Between 2.70LAc/- PA TO INR 3.20Lac/- PA.
