OUTREACH Association of Volunteers for Rural Development, was established in the year 1992 and registered under the Karnataka State Societies Registration Act 1960, in May 1993, a reputed voluntary organization registered as a society and serving the community for over three decades in Karnataka, invites applications for the position of Deputy Director on a contractual basis. We are seeking a passionate, dynamic, and experienced professional committed to social development and skilled in resource mobilization and project management.
Eligibility Criteria:
(i) Age: 40 to 50 years as on the date of application.
(ii) Educational Qualification: Postgraduate degree in Social Work, Rural Development, Development Studies, or any relevant field.
(iii) Experience: Minimum 8-10 years of experience in the development sector with a strong field background in areas such as: Livelihood promotion, Women empowerment, Water conservation, Community development, Skill training
(iv) Fundraising & Networking: Proven ability in preparing project proposals for CSR funding, submitting to donors, and securing financial support. Strong network with corporates, funding agencies, government departments, and NGOs.
(v) Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication in English and Kannada.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Project Development & Proposal Writing:
I. Prepare high-quality project proposals for submission to CSR donors, government departments, and funding agencies.
II. Conduct needs assessments and develop innovative models aligned with donor priorities.
2. Donor Liaison & Resource Mobilization:
I. Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential donors, especially in the CSR domain.
II. Identify and tap funding opportunities from corporate houses and donor agencies.

3. Government Liaison:
I. Engage with relevant government departments for collaboration and project support.
II. Stay updated with government schemes and ensure alignment of proposals accordingly.
4. Monitoring & Supervision:
I. Guide field teams in project implementation and monitoring.
II. Ensure timely reporting, documentation, and compliance with donor requirements.
5. Networking:
I. Build and sustain strategic partnerships with NGOs, CSR cells, industry associations, and other stakeholders.
6. Strategic Support:
I. Assist senior leadership in planning, reviewing, and evaluating organizational programs and strategies.
Terms and Conditions:
I. Contract Period: Initially for 1 year, renewable based on performance and organizational needs.
II. Location: Based at No.205, HBR Layout, 2nd Block, 1st Stage Extension, Bangalore 560 043, Karnataka, with travel to field areas and donor meetings as required.
III. Reporting To: Executive Director, OUTREACH, Bengaluru.
