The Right Person For The Job: We are looking for a self-motivated and innovative social development professional with a graduate qualification, at least 3 years of work experience, and a demonstrated commitment to serving women, children, and youth in our target communities. The successful candidate will preferably have a strong academic and employment background in education, training and youth development programs with emphasis on gender equality

Role Overview
The Project Manager cum Career Counsellor will lead and manage vocational training and skill development initiatives while actively guiding students in making informed career choices. This role blends program management, career counselling, and employability training, ensuring that youth are not only skilled but also successfully placed in meaningful careers.

Key Responsibilities
1. Project Planning & Management
• Plan, implement, and monitor skill development projects aligned with goals, timelines, and budgets
• Manage day-to-day operations of training centres and programs
• Ensure timely reporting, documentation, and data tracking
• Supervise trainers, coordinators, and field staff

2. Career Counselling & Student Development
• Provide one-on-one and group career counselling sessions in schools and training hubs
• Assess students’ interests, aptitude, and career readiness
• Guide students on career pathways, higher education, and job opportunities
• Mentor students throughout the training and placement journey
• Track student progress, attendance, and outcomes

3. Training & Curriculum Delivery
• Deliver or oversee training in Python, .NET, and other relevant technical skills
• Develop and update curriculum based on industry trends
• Ensure quality of training and practical learning exposure

4. Industry Linkages & Placements
• Build partnerships with corporates, startups, and IT companies
• Facilitate internships, job placements, and employer interactions
• Organise placement drives, interviews, and career workshops
• Align training programs with current job market demand

5. Networking & Partnerships
• Liaise with NGOs, schools, colleges, and training partners
• Represent the organisation at job fairs, meetings, and events
• Develop collaborations and formal partnerships (MoUs)

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Management, Education, or related field
• Strong understanding of programming (Python, .NET preferred)

Experience
• 3–5 years in skill development, training, career counselling, or employability projects
• Experience in project management and placement coordination preferred
• NGO/CSR/government project experience is an advantage
