Project Accountant – 2 Positions
Kolkata Trust for Human Development (KTfHD) is a non-profit registered Trust under Public Charitable Trust Act 1950 (GoI) and under Foreign Contribution Regulation Act 2010. Since the year 2015, KTfHD has been working towards reaching the Sustainable Development Goals under Agenda 2030.
The person will be responsible for preparing all transaction vouchers along with proper supporting documents (bills, vouchers, receipts, approving documentation, etc.) with corresponding tally entries, preparing monthly accounting reports, requisition, obtaining quotations, and helping with purchases along with the project team (as and when required) based on quotation analysis (as per the organization’s Finance Policy), maintaining stock and asset registers and associated files and physical verification of the same periodically, monthly budget preparation in consultation with the team, initiate all payments (bank and cash), all bank-related major work including quarterly BRS, relevant statutory compliance under guidance and consultation of reporting authorities for P.Tax and TDS calculation and submission, salary processing with applicable EPF, ESI, gratuity.
Education and experience requirements: minimum B.Com, having work experience for at least 3-5 years
Salary range: Rs. 30000-45000 per month (TDS and professional tax will be deducted if applicable as per the Income Tax Act).
