Recruitment Notice: Civil Engineer - Infrastructure Project
 
Vanarai is a 39-year-old NGO founded by PadmaVibhushan Dr. Mohan Dharia, working for sustainable rural development and environment conservation in India.
 
We are inviting applications for the position of Civil Engineer to work rural infrastructure development projects.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Designing, Planning, estimation and supervision of civil works such as school buildings, health care centres, toilets, low-cost housing and other infrastructure projects
  • Conducting structural audits and condit
  • ion assessments of existing buildings
  • Planning, estimation and supervision of renovation, repair, and upgradation works
  • Monitoring and quality evaluation of civil works including check dams and other water conservation structures
  • Site supervision, quality control, measurements, bill verification as per quality & quantity
Qualification & Experience:
  • B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering
  • Postgraduate qualification will be an added advantage.
  • Certification or experience in structural audit/ Construction Management/Green Construction will be an added advantage
  • 5-7 years of relevant experience in designing, planning, estimation, supervision, management of construction projects, structural audit, renovation etc.
Skills Required:
  • Strong knowledge of construction quality standards and building repairs
  • Ability to prepare estimates, BOQs, and basic drawings
  • Willingness to travel to project sites
