Job Description:
The firm is seeking an Accountant with experience in NGO accounting, GST compliance, and accounting for professionals (primarily advocates). The role involves handling multiple clients and ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting and statutory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain books of accounts for NGOs, including grant-wise accounting
• Prepare utilization certificates, donor reports, and financial statements
• Handle compliance related to 12A, 80G, and FCRA (preferred)
• Preparation and filing of GST returns and TDS returns
• Accounting and compliance support for professionals (advocates)
• Bank reconciliation, ledger scrutiny, and day-to-day accounting
• Assist in audits and respond to notices, if any
Key Skills:
• Strong knowledge of NGO accounting and compliance
• Good understanding of GST and TDS
• Experience in accounting for professionals (advocates preferred)
• Proficiency in Tally and MS Excel
• Ability to manage multiple assignments
Preferred:
• Experience in a CA firm
• Exposure to donor reporting and NGO compliance
Salary:
Rs.25,000 – Rs.35,000 per month (negotiable based on qualification and experience)
