Hope Kolkata Foundation (HKF) was established in 1999 for the protection and development of underprivileged children living on the streets or in difficult circumstances. HKF provides all-round development of children by giving shelter, nutrition, education, medical and health care, counselling, awareness generation, life skill training and recreational activities to those under its care and protection. HKF works for street and slum children, child labourers, children of sex workers, child beggars, homeless children and people, female children, children and people from disadvantaged communities.It believes in sustainable and holistic development of children by bringing lasting changes in their lives.

Job Title: Counsellor (Male)

Location: Kolkata

Experience: 2 year experiences with Child in Protection Home and working on child adoption is highly preferable. Male Candidates is preferable.

Job Description:
1. Conducting counseling sessions with all the beneficiaries of Boys protection Home
2. Maintaining all records related to individual and group counseling.
3. Maintaining dead line in report preparation and submission.
4. Liaison with Superintendent and other project staffs as per the requirement.
5. Conducting home visits and school visit as advised by the superintendent and management.
6. Conducting staff counseling sessions and resolving issues related to staffs.
7. Attending in-house meetings.
8. Identify the staff training need for effective care and handling of the children. Conducting in-house training for the caregivers and house parents.
9. To attend the emergency cases as required ( should be flexible in working hour)
10. Any work related to the project/ organization as instructed by the Secretary.
11. KRA & KPI to be filled up & submitted within the stipulated time

Salary: Full Time Contractual , Rs. 25,783/- CTC per month (Including ESI, PF & P. Tax)

Qualification: Master in Psychology

Working Hours: Monday to Friday & 1st Saturday of every month 10 am – 6pm
