Functional Summary:
Manager – Resource Mobilization is responsible for owning revenue targets and executing meal -anchored fundraising strategies, building strong pipelines, partnerships, and conversion across corporate, community, and event -based channels.
The role leads fundraising execution within clearly defined capacity, delivery, and governance frameworks, ensuring that commitments made to donors are feasible, credible, and deliverable by the organization.
Key Responsibilities
1. Revenue Ownership
- Drive meal -anchored fundraising across:
- Corporate/CSR partnerships
- Community and fundraising events
- Urban chapters and local fundraising initiatives
- Events, platforms, digital channels
- Own fundraising targets and revenue outcomes
- Coordinate team and individual plans to set and deliver revenue targets
- Lead special drives and campaigns for lead generation and donor mobilization
- Rigorously track monthly quarterly numbers and take corrective measures as needed
2. Team & Channel Management
- Lead the resource mobilization team based in different regional offices across the country, mentor them, help them achieve unit level and overall fundraising targets
- Manage team performance and take measures for improvement in outputs of individuals
- Establish smooth coordination with the Corporate Events and Community Events Managers to ensure events deliver as committed
- Ensure consistency of messaging, pricing, and commitments across locations, channels and donor level
- Respond proactively to donor requirements including gift processing and sending thank you letters in a timely manner
3. Commitment Discipline
- Ensure all fundraising commitments align with:
- Organizational priorities (e.g. meals, food and nutrition etc)
- Operational feasibility, meal packaging team’s delivery schedule, and overall organizational capacity
- Work closely with the Manager – Meal Packaging Programs and Head of the Division to validate commitments
- Ensure commitments from the organization are delivered to the satisfaction of the donors
4. Partner & Donor Relationships
- Build and steward long -term donor and corporate relationships
- Ensure professional negotiation, clear MOUs, and timely fund realization
- Support accurate utilization reporting and donor communication (in collaboration with relevant teams)
- Establish donor recognition program
Qualification and Experience
- Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Non -Profit Management or related OR the equivalent combination of education and experience
- At least 8 years of experience in donation solicitation in a non -profit environment, similar sales experience or other related business experience
- Strong fundraising and partnership development background
- Commercial acumen and ability to manage targets and pipelines
- Experience managing teams and multiple fundraising channels
- Experience working in non -profit or with volunteers will be considered an advantage
- Experience and knowledge of event management/facilitation, especially hosting and facilitating events with diverse groups
Key Competencies and Capabilities Required
- Comfort working within defined delivery and governance constraints
- Strong internal collaboration and negotiation skills
- Comfort and proficiency with presentation skills both one -on-one and publicly.
- Proven experience in personal relationship building, socializing professionally in both intimate settings and at larger social events.
- Willingness and ability to travel to the field locations and event sites
- Ability to organize and prioritize multiple job tasks, and to meet deadlines
