Role Overview
Synergie is seeking dynamic and field-oriented Community Mobilizers to support implementation of road safety and community engagement initiatives at transport hubs in Ahmedabad and Pune.
The role involves extensive on-ground coordination with drivers, transport workers, local stakeholders, beneficiaries, and field teams to ensure smooth execution of training and engagement activities. Candidates should be comfortable working in field environments and interacting directly with diverse community groups.
Key Responsibilities:
• Build and maintain strong relationships with transport workers, local stakeholders, beneficiaries, and implementation partners.
• Support execution of field activities including road safety awareness sessions, driver engagement activities, and community outreach initiatives.
• Mobilize participation and ensure smooth coordination during on-ground program implementation.
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation of field activities, attendance records, feedback, photographs, and basic impact data.
• Coordinate closely with internal teams to ensure smooth operational delivery across program locations.
• Support reporting requirements and field-level follow-ups as required by the project team.
Mandatory Requirements:
• Willingness to travel and work extensively in field-based implementation environments.
• Comfortable engaging directly with drivers, transport workers, and grassroots communities.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Candidate Requirements:
• Minimum 3–4 years of experience in community mobilization, outreach, or field implementation roles.
• Prior experience working directly with communities and local stakeholders.
• Strong relationship-building and coordination abilities.
• Ability to work independently in dynamic field conditions.
• Basic reporting and documentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Candidates available to join within 15 days will be preferred.
• Master’s degree in Social Work or a related field will be an added advantage.
