Role Summary
Synergie is hiring Trainers to implement a grassroots Financial and Digital Literacy Program in Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra. The role combines field mobilization with direct training delivery and is ideal for individuals passionate about community empowerment and behavior change.
A key aspect of the role is engaging with institutions, associations, and local organizations to mobilize participants and deliver structured group sessions. Candidates must be confident in initiating and managing such institutional relationships independently.
Key Responsibilities
Mobilization & Institutional Engagement:
• Identify and mobilize target learners through strategic partnerships with institutions and local organizations
• Engage proactively with stakeholders to schedule and organize training sessions
• Build trust and rapport with community influencers to drive participation
• Training Delivery
Conduct training sessions on:
• Basic financial literacy: saving, budgeting, UPI, credit, mobile banking
• Digital literacy: smartphone usage, cyber safety, accessing government services
• Use learner-friendly, activity-based, and multilingual approaches
Tracking & Reporting
• Maintain session records, attendance, photos, and field insights
• Share weekly updates and performance metrics with project teams
• Monitor targets aligned to incentive structures
Eligibility Criteria
• Education: Graduate in any discipline (preferred: Social Work, Education, Rural Development)
• Experience: 2–3 years in community mobilization, training, or development sector roles
Skills & Competencies:
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to confidently engage with institutional partners
• Comfortable initiating meetings and coordinating independently
Proficient in local languages:
Maharashtra: Marathi + Hindi
Basic tech skills (smartphone usage, UPI apps, WhatsApp, MS Office)
Must have self-conveyance and be mobile to travel locally as per project needs
Travel reimbursement will be provided as per company policy
