POSITION ROLE
The Community Mobiliser will be responsible for the community level actions in all villages of working block under the project. The Community Mobiliser will plan and implement the activities under the guidance of the Field Officer in line with the implementation plan of the project.
 
Remain alert and responsive to any safeguarding risks; acquire and maintain the relevant knowledge and skills necessary to promote strong safeguarding practices; understand and adhere to ChildFund India’s Safeguarding Policy and Procedures; and conduct yourself at all times in a manner consistent with ChildFund India’s safeguarding principles and standards.
 
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Be responsible for implementing project activities as per project plan for the assigned location / village/block. Communication, training skills, and a team-oriented, Child Centred and gender-sensitive approach.
  • Prepare monthly action plans, maintain reports, and ensure proper documentation of all activities.
  • Support liaison with government departments and actively participate in review and learning meetings.
  • Engage and mobilize community members, leaders, frontline workers VLCWC/ WLCWC, SMCs for better outcome of the project.
  • Assist in implementation of assessments and surveys as required.
  • Preparation of monthly action plan and progress report.
  •  Support in liaison with relevant govt. department officials
  •  Undertake regular home visits.
  • Be responsible for reporting & documentation for all activities
  • Participate in learning and review meetings.
  • Develop documents, case studies and share the same with field coordinator.
  • Any other responsibility assigned by the Line Manager.
 
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION
  • Education: Diploma / technical training / or equivalent experience. Graduation preferred.
  • Work Experience: 2+ years of experience in community mobilization and community level stakeholder engagement such as panchayat, village leaders, etc. Working experience in the sector is an added advantage.
  • Language Proficiency: Fluency (both verbal and written) in Marathi and Hindi. English is preferred.
  • Skills and Abilities: Capacity building and training skills. Be an organized, team player, self-starter and results-oriented individual. Be gender sensitive with strong conviction and skills for the empowerment of excluded and disadvantage.

EVALUATION AND SELECTION CRITERIA
Step 1: HR Pre-Screening:All Job Applications received will be collated by HR and preliminary screening will be conducted based on the minimum education and experience requirements mentioned above. The Applicants that do not meet the education and experience criteria will not be considered further for the selection process. All the qualified applications will be handed over by HR to the Selection Panel.
 
Step 2: Qualified applications will be further reviewed by the Selection Panel. The Selection Panel will assess and rank all the applications based on the following factors for a maximum of 100 points:

Work Experience (50 points)
 
Step 3: Based on the written test assessment, applications will be further shortlisted for Step 3 i.e. Interview. The applications will be evaluated by the Selection Panel for the final selection, based on the following evaluation factors for a maximum of 100 points.

Teamwork and Collaboration (25 Points)
Communication Skills (25 Points)
 
 
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
Salary starts at INR 249805 per annum plus benefits, with scope for consideration for adjustment in line with the experience, skills, and knowledge the selected candidate brings.
