Krishak Pathshala is seeking a dynamic and experienced Agriculture Marketing Consultant to strengthen market linkages, enhance farmers' income, and support the development of sustainable agricultural value chains. The consultant will work closely with Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs), farmer groups, agri-enterprises, buyers, and stakeholders to improve market access and profitability for farmers.

Key Roles & Responsibilities
Market Development & Linkages
Identify and establish market linkages with wholesalers, retailers, processors, exporters, and institutional buyers.
Facilitate direct farmer-to-market and FPO-to-market connections.
Develop marketing strategies for agricultural produce, value-added products, and allied sector products.
Conduct market assessments and identify emerging market opportunities.
Value Chain & Business Development
Analyze agricultural value chains and recommend interventions for improved market efficiency.
Support aggregation, grading, sorting, packaging, and branding initiatives.
Develop business plans and marketing plans for FPOs and producer groups.
Promote value addition and market-oriented production systems.
Farmer & FPO Capacity Building
Conduct training programs on agricultural marketing, price discovery, post-harvest management, and market intelligence.
Build the capacity of farmers and FPOs in negotiation, contract farming, and buyer engagement.
Support farmer groups in developing sustainable marketing systems.
