Honorarium: Rs 20,000 per month + Travel for Official Work
Working Days: 5 days a week

Key Responsibilities
• Conduct a baseline survey of the locality/village to identify the suitable children (initial 2 months) with the help of Social Outreach Team of the organisation.
• Conduct community outreach and mobilisation activities in the village to identify and encourage children of marginalized families (CMF) to attend the Centre for Learning & Empowerment (CLE).
• Enrol the children in need of care and protection (CNCPs) & their siblings in the CLE.
• Prepare activity module, maintain attendance, monitor progress and ensure timely completion of the designed activity module.
• Introduce children to basic computer application and skill-based sessions for children and adolescents at the CLE (centre for learning and empowerment).
• Facilitate the subject teacher(s) in teaching and learning process.
• Use participative learning skills and techniques to retain the interest of the child in the centre.
• Create a safe and encouraging environment in the centre which can prove helpful in behavioural change and emotional growth of the disciplined and positive learning environment within the centre.
• Regularly visit to the houses of the enrolled children to build a rapport with the parents and minimize dropouts.
• Build rapport with community members, local stakeholders, NGOs and families to strengthen the centre’s visibility and outreach.
• Organize awareness sessions, creative activities, educational workshops and events for children and adolescents.
• Maintain records related to attendance, student progress, community visits and centre activities.
• Ensure proper functioning, cleanliness and upkeep of the centre and learning materials.
• Coordinate with the colleagues and support social awareness, education and empowerment initiatives.
• Assist with basic administrative and office-related tasks whenever required.

Desired Profile
• Female candidate with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Past experience in working with children.
• Knowledge of computers and its applications. A computer course from a reputed institution is preferable.
• Comfortable with field/community visits and door-to-door mobilisation to encourage enrolment and participation.
• Compassionate, child-friendly and sensitive towards issues of child protection, gender equality and inclusion.
• Basic computer knowledge and ability to maintain records/reports.
• Ability to work independently, take ownership of the centre and build trust within the community.
• Commitment to treating all children with dignity and without discrimination.
