Job Title: District Coordinator

Vacancy: District Coordinator

Location- Gadchiroli

Duration: Immediate- March 31, 2027

Organizational Background

Job description: The District Coordinator would be responsible for implementing the Project in his/her assigned district
Salary: INR 40,000/-

Key Responsibilities:
• Line-listing of villages for conducting project activities
• Implement and coordinate project activities at the assigned district level.
• Maintain and build the rapport with district and block officials, community leaders and apprise them about purpose of the project activities.
• Organize trainings and community meetings at the district and block level of the school teachers and frontline health workers
• Responsible for baseline and endline data collection in their assigned district
• Responsible for managing and generating awareness through digital mediums such as videos, SMS campaign and community-based activities
• Support district project team in preparation of monthly progress, half yearly and annual report.
• Support in coordination with different departments to mobilize the community
• Resolves field challenges; investigating issues; identifying solutions; recommending action.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
• Regularly update and maintain data of activities and report the related issues/challenges.
• Responsible for the assigned district data, coordination with the M&E department
• Undertake other responsibilities not outlined above which are commensurate with a role of this nature and which have been discussed and agreed between the line manager and the post holder

Physical Requirements
• The job requires extensive field visit for supporting/conducting field activities at the field level

Qualifications and Skills
• Post Graduate in public Health/sociology/social sciences or any other relevant discipline.
• Minimum 4-5 years of experience in development sector, preferably health care program.

Professional & Personal Competencies
• Passion to work in the development sector.
• Good communication and training skills.
• Knowledge of MS-Office is essential.
• Knowledge of community mobilization strategies.
• Knowledge of local language is must.
