Project Brief:
The Public Health Foundation of India (PHFI) in collaboration with Tata Memorial Centre (Mumbai), Dr. B. Borooah Cancer Institute (Guwahati, Assam) and NIMHANS (Bengaluru), IIT BOMBAY, is implementing a study entitled “Implement and Evaluate CARE (Comprehensive AI-powered ConveRsational IntErface to Quit Tobacco) to improve cessation among tobacco users”. The study proposes the development of a smartphone-based app. and assess its effectiveness. The app will offer tobacco cessation guidance and deliver age-specific messages. App-based solutions for tobacco cessation leverage technology to make support and resources easily accessible to users, promoting a more convenient and personalized approach to quitting tobacco. The proposed app will offer information on the health risks of tobacco, benefits of quitting, and strategies for successful cessation.
Job Summary:
Support research activities by conducting literature reviews, coordinating study meetings, documenting meeting minutes, assisting with qualitative and quantitative data analysis, and contributing to manuscript preparation and submission.
Deliverables:
Key responsibilities include:
• Undertake need-based literature reviews for the study.
• Coordinate the organization of study update and review meetings.
• Prepare minutes of study update, review meetings and project advisory committee meetings.
• Support team in both qualitative and quantitative analysis.
• Contribute to the manuscript writing and submission of manuscripts Manage all project administration with the project team
• Maintain records of all study-related documents.
• Perform any other tasks related to the study as assigned by the supervisor and principal Investigator.
• Any other task assigned by VP (Research) pertaining to the above role.
Qualification:
Essential:
• Three Years Graduate in relevant subject/field.
• For Engineering/IT/CS-First Class Four Years Graduate Degree+ Three years’ experience.
Desirable:
• PG in a relevant subject/field
Experience:
Essential:
• Around 03 Years of Experience.
• Ability to conduct comprehensive and systematic reviews of scientific literature.
• Basic skills in research methodology, including data management and analysis.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Desirable:
• Basic skills in research software (ANVIVO/ATLAS ti/SPSS/STATA)
• Strong skills in Excel, including data organization, analysis, and reporting.
• Fluency or working proficiency in English, with strong communication skills for both written and verbal tasks.
Skills & Competencies:
• Ability to conduct comprehensive and systematic reviews of scientific literature.
• Basic skills in research methodology, including data management and analysis.
