Key Responsibilities – Senior Field IT Support Engineer

Provide on-site and remote technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, and other IT peripherals.
Install, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain CCTV surveillance systems, including IP cameras, NVR/DVRs, and remote monitoring solutions.
Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues related to desktops, laptops, and workstations.
Install, configure, and troubleshoot network printers, scanners, and multifunction devices.
Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi networks, switches, routers, and structured cabling.
Identify and resolve network connectivity issues, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and internet-related problems.
Configure and manage firewalls, including security policies, NAT rules, VPN tunnels, bandwidth management, and threat prevention.
Administer and maintain Microsoft Active Directory, including user account management, Group Policies (GPO), Organizational Units (OU), DNS, DHCP, and file sharing permissions.
Install, configure, and maintain Windows Server environments and ensure server availability and performance.
Perform system installations, upgrades, patch management, and preventive maintenance of IT infrastructure.
Manage backup and recovery procedures to ensure business continuity and data protection.
Support email clients, Microsoft Office applications, antivirus solutions, and endpoint security tools.
Maintain IT asset inventory, documentation, network diagrams, and service records.
Coordinate with vendors for hardware procurement, warranty claims, and Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMC).
Monitor system performance and proactively identify infrastructure issues before they impact operations.
Ensure compliance with organizational IT policies, cybersecurity standards, and data protection guidelines.
Respond promptly to service requests, prioritize incidents based on severity, and meet defined Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior IT support engineers and field technicians.
Conduct preventive maintenance visits across branch offices and ensure optimal functioning of all IT infrastructure.
Prepare technical reports, root cause analysis (RCA), and documentation for recurring issues.
Support implementation of new IT projects, office setups, infrastructure expansion, and technology upgrades.

Required Technical Skills
Windows 10/11 and Windows Server Administration
Microsoft Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS & DHCP
Firewall Configuration (Sophos, Fortinet, SonicWall, MikroTik, etc.)
Network Troubleshooting (TCP/IP, VLAN, VPN, Routing & Switching)
CCTV Installation & Configuration (Hikvision, Dahua, CP Plus, etc.)
Desktop & Laptop Hardware Troubleshooting
Printer Installation & Network Printer Management
Router, Switch & Wi-Fi Access Point Configuration
Remote Support Tools (AnyDesk, TeamViewer, Remote Desktop)
Microsoft Office 365 Administration
Backup & Recovery Solutions
IT Asset Management and Documentation
