We are inviting applications from qualified and motivated candidates for the position of Project Manager.

Salary: 30,000 – 40,000 per month (Negotiable, based on qualification and relevant experience).

Job Purpose
The Project Coordinator will be responsible for implementing program interventions while strengthening Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs) as sustainable, member-owned, and professionally managed institutions. The position will lead the planning, implementation, monitoring, and coordination of project activities related to sustainable livelihoods, goat value chain development, social capital strengthening, climate-smart agriculture, enterprise development, and community institution building, while ensuring the growth and sustainability of FPOs.
The incumbent will focus on strengthening FPO governance, institutional systems, shareholder mobilization, business development, market linkages, stakeholder convergence, and collective enterprises. The role will also ensure effective implementation of project activities at the field level, capacity building of community institutions, monitoring of project indicators, and coordination with partners and government stakeholders.

Key Roles and Responsibilities
A. Project Management
The Project Coordinator will be responsible for planning, implementing, coordinating, monitoring, and reporting on all assigned project interventions to ensure quality implementation and achievement of project objectives. The key responsibilities include:
• Plan, coordinate, and supervise the implementation of project activities related to Agriculture, Livestock and One Health (LTOH), Goat Enterprise Fund (GEF), Pass-on, Social Capital, Farmer Producer Organisations (FPOs), and Institutional Strengthening.
• Develop annual, quarterly, and monthly implementation plans in alignment with project goals, work plans, budgets, and donor requirements.
• Ensure timely and quality implementation of project activities in collaboration with team, community and relevant stakeholders.
• Strengthen community institutions, including Self-Help Groups (SHGs), Producer Groups, BoD, and Farmer Producer Organizations, to enhance their governance, leadership, financial management, and long-term sustainability.
• Lead the strengthening of Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs) by improving governance, shareholder mobilization, business planning, market linkages, financial sustainability, compliance, and institutional performance.
• Facilitate convergence with government departments, financial institutions, technical agencies, research institutions, and private-sector partners to leverage resources and enhance project impact.
• Monitor project progress against agreed indicators, conduct regular field visits, review implementation quality, identify challenges, and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure timely collection, validation, analysis, and reporting of project data through organizational MIS and monitoring systems while maintaining high standards of documentation and data quality.
• Prepare periodic technical reports, success stories, case studies, presentations, and donor reports as required.
• Perform any other project-related responsibilities assigned by the supervisor to support successful programme implementation.

B. FPO Strengthening and market linkage
• In addition to programme implementation, the Project Coordinator will lead the strengthening of Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs) as sustainable, member-owned, and professionally managed institutions. The role will focus on improving FPO governance, institutional systems, shareholder mobilization, business planning, financial management, statutory compliance, collective procurement and aggregation, value addition, market linkages, and long-term business sustainability.
• The incumbent will facilitate market-oriented interventions by identifying and developing market opportunities for agricultural and livestock products, establishing linkages with buyers, processors, input suppliers, financial institutions, and service providers, and promoting collective marketing and enterprise development through FPOs.
• The position will also support value chain development, business partnerships, and convergence with government schemes and private-sector actors to enhance farmers' income and strengthen sustainable livelihoods.
• The Project Coordinator will work closely with the FPO Board of Directors, Chief Executive Officer (CEO)/FPO Manager, project staff, shareholders, Self-Help Groups (SHGs), Producer Groups, community institutions, government departments, institutions, buyers, and other stakeholders to improve programme quality and FPO sustainability.
C. Goat and Agriculture Value Chain Development
• Strengthen the FPO's role in the goat, agriculture and other relevant value chains.
• Facilitate collective aggregation and marketing of goats, agricultural produce and other products.
• Support the FPO in establishing and strengthening goat collection and aggregation systems.
• Coordinate with community-level entrepreneurs, CAVEs, Super CAVE, goat entrepreneurs and other value-chain actors.
• Support the FPO in identifying market opportunities for live goats, castrated bucks, breeding animals, agricultural produce and other products.
• Facilitate the development of reliable supply chains between producers and buyers.
D. Data Management, Monitoring and Reporting
• Ensure timely collection, verification and consolidation of FPO , Project -related data.
• Ensure regular physical verification of reported activities and data.
• Review data and supporting documents before submission through the applicable reporting and PMIS systems.
• Prepare and submit monthly, quarterly, half-yearly and annual progress reports as required.
• Document success stories, case studies, innovations and learning from FPO / Project activities.
• Maintain updated records of FPO business progress and project activities.
Note :- The Project Coordinator will be responsible for maintaining regular communication with the reporting supervisor and submitting timely progress updates. Performance will be reviewed periodically based on agreed work plans, targets, KPIs and the overall performance of the FPO.
